Senior Business Analyst, Talent ML Development - Job Role & Responsibilities

About The Role

In this role, you will play a critical function in defining how we leverage ML services across all applications in Talent Organization. You will be responsible for coordination of multiple stakeholders to deliver ML-powered applications that delight users. Furthermore, you will be responsible for Talent ML Roadmap when it comes to tactical and strategic initiatives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with all stakeholders across multiple orgs to deliver valuable ML features across Talent Pillar products.
  • Facilitate cross functional collaboration to move ML features from PoC to production.
  • Drive definition and implementation of success metrics for ML features and champion review and analysis of the results. Provide guidance on next steps based on the insights from the data.
  • Help Product Managers identify ML enabled features in their applications that have high ROI using new or existing ML capabilities.
  • Drive a consistent User Experience across the products in the pillar in the application of ML.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of Business Analyst or Product Management experience in technology industry, preferably in Software-as-a-Service products in a multi-tenant cloud environment
  • Minimum 3 years of strong product owner experience working as product manager or working closely with product manager for product deliverables and release support.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing machine learning products or services.

Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly and persuasively, and drive a high level of focus and excellence with a strong, dedicated, opinionated dev team.
  • Experience working with technical architects, development, operations, and other organizations through design, testing, product release, and maintenance.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage ambiguity during product development cycle with exhibit of excellent judgment.
  • BA/BS in technical field (science or engineering) or equivalent experience, advanced degree is helpful.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations in the United States (US) are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things.
