As a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) Senior Business Analyst, you will join a state-of-the-art cloud engineering team made up of the Site Reliability Engineering group, the DevOps enablement group, and the Performance & Scaling team. You will be responsible for turning revenue and operational SaaS data into actionable analytics on margins & profitability to help drive data-driven decisions and productivity efficiencies across the SaaS business. As a member of the SaaS Operations org, you will collaborate with cross-organizational stakeholders across the company to build models for revenue and growth compared to costs. Your business analysis skills will be key to transforming these into trusted visualizations and measurable KPIs (key performance indicators) that provide visibility into profitability and the ROI (return on investment) of Qlik’s SaaS offerings and customers which will allow the executive team to make informed strategic decisions.

Responsibilities Include, But Not Limited To

• Partnering with internal functional teams to capture and translate business needs into the development of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
• Designing, building, and supporting data visualizations, reports, and dashboards within Qlik products to monitor, understand, and optimize SaaS performance at a company level.
• Playing an active role as a business analyst to gather requirements at all levels across our organization, Finance, and Sales to understand the drivers for the information being requested.
• Acting as subject matter expert in building revenue models into visualizations in Qlik that can then be consumed in operational flows such as customer profitability in contract renewals.
• Present insights and trends from models to company executives and senior leadership team members regularly.
• Be a strategic partner with the Finance team to validate the business outlook and assist with forecasting, budgeting, and multi-year planning.

Skills And Qualifications For This Role Include

• Post secondary education in business, analytics, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience data-diving in a quality improvement environment.
• Understanding stakeholder business issues, data sources, business systems, and processes.
• Exceptional communication skills working with cross-functional teams and presenting to company senior leadership.
• Experience with Qlik or other business visualization tools.
• Understanding of data process flow across a variety of systems – For example Salesforce, NetSuite, and Reltio.
• Seeing the big picture and using analytical and problem-solving skills that contribute to the execution of data driven strategies.
• Execute ad hoc analysis and data exploration to better understand systems and processes.
• Ability to work under pressure while juggling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong understanding and experience working with cost and revenue drivers in a SaaS company or business line.
