Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst.

The Impact You Will Have

Based on customer and sponsor requirements, for board-approved projects and initiatives, deliver cross-functional and cross-regional analysis / consultancy / training to improve Allianz Commercial (AzC) ability to deliver its value proposition to clients. Ensure a rigorous and methodical approach in executing analysis / consultancy / training which is in line with Allianz and AzC standards. This role is of senior nature and includes the management of project team members and external consultants. It can include line management.

Some of your specific responsibilities include:

  • Deliver analysis / consultancy / training to improve global Allianz Commercial (AzC) business operations as part of board-approved projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure high quality work results which are delivered in time and budget through a clear understanding of the customer's needs and deploying rigorous, methodical approach to improve AGCS's delivery towards clients in line with strategic priorities.
  • In alignment with business priorities identify AzC business improvement opportunities relating to organization, business processes, organizational capabilities and business IT applications.
  • Create proposals for management and support the creation of project proposals, including, but not limited to Voice of the Customer (VoC), cost / benefit analysis, work package definitions, time & resource planning for delivery.
  • Ensure that global standards and guiding principles are followed in projects and initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to AzC Global Operating Framework (Operating Model, Process Landscape), Business Process Management (BPM) Standards, Training Standards.
  • Compile best practices and share with own department, OBT and business functions as relevant. Best practices can include, but are not limited to project approaches, lessons learned, application of methods and tools. Deliver proactive sharing through written communication, presentations, conference calls, workshops as appropriate.
  • Act as a champion for methods which includes but is not limited to Lean, Six Sigma, OPEX, OREX, Train-the-Trainer, Test Management. Act as sparing partner for management and coach team members.
  • Manage project teams as part of business improvement initiatives, consisting of analysts and business experts. For higher levels, line management of analysts / consultants can be included in the role.
Senior Business Analyst - Job requirements

What You’ll Bring To The Role

  • 3-5 years experience in the domain of practice of the role
  • 3-5 years experience in project management experience
  • 3-5 years experience in line management experience
  • 1-3 years experience in the insurance industry domain
  • 3-5 years experience in cross-cultural and international work experience
  • Business Administration Degree of similar, Master’s preferred
  • Professional certification qualification in the domain of practice preferred
What we offer at Allianz

The annualized base pay range for this role is $75,409 - $128,400. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
