Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Wage & Pay Digital Solutions Team understands the importance of optimizing lululemon’s time and pay practices to meet both pay compliance and future forward scalability, and we know that payroll remains at the epicentre for employee financial wellness. a Day In The Life

The Senior Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams on mid to high complexity, high impact projects to support our internal business needs and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Strong understanding of documented business requirements and translation to technical requirements
  • Translating business strategy into roadmaps for consumption by teams
  • Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs
  • Developing requirements use cases and partnering with tech teams to strategize and manage testing execution
  • Lead impact assessment, and dependency management discussions with partner teams
  • Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business and technical stakeholders
  • Utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirements alignment sessions
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gain alignment within constraints of the project or work

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business analyst experience
  • Strong experience providing business requirements for medium to large initiatives
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Confluence and Jira sills
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-directed, proactive and work with a sense of urgency
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity to deliver results
  • Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints while keeping the end user needs at top of mind
