Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Ethico's products and services. Working closely with the Product Manager and CTO, your core responsibilities will be to draft comprehensive business requirement documentation, prepare Epics and User Stories, and craft relatable feature wireframes. This position requires a self-starter with a passion for mastering a diverse range of products and services offered by Ethico.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Master understanding of product offerings and update documentation
  • Prepare Epics, User Stories, and feature wireframes that align with project objectives
  • Collaborate effectively with globally distributed engineering teams
  • Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders about refined requirements, challenges, etc.
  • Manage changing requirements, remaining agile to meet evolving business needs
  • Collate, clarify, and help prioritize troubleshooting requests and product inquiries
  • Maintain, test, and improve Product Team systems and business operations
  • Support decision-making based on value and impact
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives in the SDLC
  • Bring innovative ideas based on user discovery, competitor insight, and industry trends
  • Contribute consistently to the product backlog
  • Potential for managing other team members as the team grows
Senior Business Analyst - Job requirements

Experience you’ll need to succeed in your role at Ethico

  • Bachelor's Degree - or equivalent certification in the field
  • 3-5 Years of Experience in software development or related
  • Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle
  • Familiarity in Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills across functions
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Exceptionally detail-oriented
  • Working knowledge of Confluence, Azure Dev-ops or similar
  • Working experience with wireframing and prototyping tools
  • Working knowledge of SQL is a plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate effective collaboration with cross-functional teams
