Senior Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

The HubSpot Customer Success Strategy and Operations (CSSO) team is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting key initiatives connected to our Professional Services organization to drive meaningful insight and strategic initiatives. This individual will particularly be responsible for efforts to drive impact at scale through partner-oriented initiatives and aligning to initiatives geared to find new leverage through the organization and HubSpot customer lifecycle.

In This Role, You Will

  • Provide data-driven, operational, and decision-making support to the Customer Success organization and management team
  • Support our operating cadence of weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPI reviews
  • Develop forecasting and analysis that will drive key decision-making
  • Project manage strategic initiatives with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Respond to business requests, compile root cause analyses, and solve common issues
  • Support cross-functional programs, processes, and systems to drive performance and productivity improvements
  • Support planning, staffing, budgeting, and priorities for supported teams
  • Recommend and implement changes to business processes
  • Prioritize and adapt to drive key initiatives in a fast-paced business unit
Senior Business Analyst - Job requirements

We Are Looking For People Who Have

  • A Customer-First mindset and passion for supporting customer-facing teams
  • Have strong communication skills and are excited by the prospect of collaborating across HubSpot and translating data into insights
  • Have advanced Excel knowledge
  • Data visualization software experience (Looker, Tableau, etc)
  • Have Intermediate (or better) SQL skills (any SQL language)
  • Familiarity with R/Python a plus
  • Results Orientated; you not only run the numbers but also embrace the responsibility of executing on your recommendations
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, can pivot and work autonomously, and are excited about working in a learning and growth culture
  • Prior experience in management consulting, finance, strategy & ops is a plus
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 4+ years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Cash compensation range: 118500-189600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
