Business Analyst, Wage & Pay Team - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Wage & Pay Digital Solutions Team understands the importance of optimizing lululemon’s time and pay practices to meet both pay compliance and future forward scalability, and we know that payroll remains at the epicentre for employee financial wellness. We strive for transparency, accuracy, timely and compliant pay, and we continually collaborate with our partner teams, working towards the shared goals of optimizing our HCM solutions, realizing time and cost savings, generating powerful data analytics, meeting or exceeding compliance regulations, introducing standardization across operations and processes, and increasing our data security.

a Day In The Life

  • The Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and SMEs to gather business requirements and use cases to support our internal business needs and guest experiences
  • Business and requirements gathering around requests for time and pay related initiatives.
  • Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs.
  • Including dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements.
  • Assist in developing and documenting testing strategies with tech partners.
  • Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders
  • Utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirement alignment sessions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of business analyst experience.
  • Strong understanding of time and pay related systems.
  • Experience gathering and translating business requirements for small to medium initiatives.
  • Comfortable utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, Jira and Confluence tools
  • Experience working with both agile and waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Proven facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience making tradeoffs between business needs and technology constraints, while keeping the end user needs at top of mind.
