Business Analyst, Retail - Job Role & Responsibilities

We’re Looking For A: Retail Business Analyst to leverage all data sources available to track and forecast the retail business and identify opportunities to increase sales…Turn data into actionable insights

Location: Remote (Office in Woodland Hills, CA)

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Track ROI and analyze trade spend on key marketing and field sales programs
  • Conduct market, pricing, category and competitive analysis leading to portfolio and pricing recommendations
  • Category management work including leveraging consumer research and market data
  • Track Sales team performance such as sales, points of distribution, rooftops, etc…
  • Identify sales and distribution opportunities based on retail ordering data, DTC zip code data, Nielsen, distributor data and other
  • Create SKU level forecasts by customer and align with sales teams and operations
  • Planogram designs and development for major retailers
  • Support the implementation of a CRM program for field sales team
Business Analyst, Retail - Job requirements

  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau and similar applications
  • Comfortable with statistics and data modeling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Curiosity to explore and learn
  • Self motivated and self directed with the ability to perform well with limited direction
  • Detail orientation and great follow through
  • Undergraduate degree in business or related field (required)
  • Undergraduate degree in business with a focus in Analytics (preferred)
  • 2-3 years of consumer goods analytics (required)
  • 4-6 years of related experience including consumer goods and/or retail (preferred)

The base salary range is $58,200.00-$77,600.00, with an additional 20% bonus opportunity.
