Job Description & Responsibilities
We’re Looking For A: Retail Business Analyst to leverage all data sources available to track and forecast the retail business and identify opportunities to increase sales…Turn data into actionable insights.
Location: Remote (Office in Woodland Hills, CA)
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Track TSM performance such as sales, points of distribution, rooftops, etc…
- Identify sales and distribution opportunities based on retail ordering data, DTC zip code data and other sources
- Track ROI on key marketing and trade spend programs (work with direct accounts and POS data)
- Conduct market, pricing, category and competitive analysis leading to portfolio recommendations
- Create SKU level forecasts by customer and align with sales teams and operations
- Track trade funding by area, territory and account (billbacks, returns, P&L details, etc…)
- Leverage data platforms to identify stores that need to be ordering product based on projected OOS or that have stopped stocking brands…and share with field sales
- Category management work including leveraging consumer research and market data (including brand and category POGs)
- Travel required 10% per calendar year
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications (Note: These are preferred and not required. We strongly encourage you to apply even if you don’t tick ALL of these boxes.):
- Proficiency in Excel, Tableau and similar applications
- Comfortable with statistics and data modeling
- Curiosity to explore and learn
- Self motivated and self directed with the ability to perform well with limited direction
- Detail orientation and great follow through
- Undergraduate degree in business or related field (required)
- Undergraduate degree in business with a focus in Analytics (preferred)
- 2-3 years of experience with consumer goods analytics (required)
- 4-6 years of related experience including consumer goods and/or retail (preferred)

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000-$90,000, plus annual bonus.
Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geographical location.
