Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

Trackonomy Systems, Inc. is a technology and solutions company with a breakthrough platform focused on enabling end-to-end visibility and control across a fragmented global supply chain. Trackonomy Systems, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking a Business Analyst to analyze data to identify necessary features and opportunities to improve development.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

  • Partner with product managers to define key operational processes and success criteria.
  • Ensure the development of software needed to analyze data and processes.
  • Promote strong collaboration within a cross-functional team, including design and product management.
  • Analyze and evaluate systems design.
  • Ensure the implementation of systems software in a way that will improve the efficiency of both the engineering and product team
  • Develop logic, write, and test systems that were defined by higher level software programmers.
  • Enhance, install, and test vendor supplied utilities and software packages, and assist in the development of complex software programs to provide appropriate development features.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to coordinate, prioritize and deliver roadmaps.
  • Drive internal process improvements across teams, remove roadblocks, and deliver on high-impact projects focusing on efficiency, performance, and quality.
  • Clarify, prioritize, and drive project commitments and establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.
  • Build a reporting pipeline and dashboards for identifying customer-facing quality issues across our products.
  • Perform analysis for proofs of concept and pilots and then automate those analyses.

This position will not supervise other personnel.

Business Analyst - Job requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Analytics, Information Technology or any related Business, Analytics, or IT field of study, plus at least six (6) months of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the experience was gained.

Qualified candidates must also have demonstrable knowledge, experience, skill, and proficiency with the following:

  • Conducting design and product management across multiple multi-functional teams, including project management.
  • Monday.com, JIRA, Java.
  • Python, MS Access, SQL.
  • Data Analysis, Agile.

No travel. No WFH
