Business Analyst, Apparel & Licensing - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Business Analyst will facilitate assigned projects by guiding teams through the product development process, helping to manage the product development calendar, timelines, and facilitating cross-functional discussions. This role will participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve internal processes and partnerships and collaborate extensively with similar functions in other regions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with teams to navigate product development process with a focus on cross-functional task execution.
  • Determines how changes to the project will affect the business and systems.
  • Provides recommendations regarding the evolution of the process and tools.
  • Responds to inquiries and provides advice to the team regarding current and potential risk to inputs, processes, and outputs.
  • Negotiates plans and timeframes, ensuring that cross-functional team members understand their role and timing.
  • Creates, develops, provides, or coordinates product development calendars and processes to support the execution of products.
  • Produces reports, timelines, and graphics to communicate expectations, risk, and progress to management and other relevant parties.
  • Collaborates with the Project Manager to ensure the needs of the project plan have been met.
  • Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of process difficulties.

Education Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Education Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Experience in and awareness of project management, change management, continuous improvement principles and participating in cross-functional teams
  • Thorough planning, organizational, data analysis, and data interpretation abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication, collaboration, negotiation, and facilitation skills. Ability to analyze and communicate technical subjects in a clear and understandable fashion
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to change
