Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Business Analyst is a leader who works in close partnership with engineering, clinical organization, and sales teams to deliver world-class data outputs and solutions by identifying data-driven insights that drive product direction and enhancements while improving on identifying the right patient population at the right time to improve patient care and efficacy through PrecisionQ solutions.

PrecisionQ is a suite of Integra Connect solutions designed to help biosciences leaders address the opportunities and challenges presented by the shift of healthcare to value-based care models. We help quantify the value of treatments and diagnostic tests in terms of their impact on total cost of care, quality of life, and patient outcomes. In this regard, experience or knowledge related to healthcare data analysis and data-based product development, particularly in the domain of oncology care and patient management, would be valuable to the ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and evaluate product performance identifying patterns and trends that indicate how well the product performs on the market and gather customer feedback data to gauge performance determining how they can be improved or updated.
  • Evaluate data completeness ensuring that metrics and logic within solutions driving insights work as expected.
  • Creates reports and presentations about product data findings.
  • Model business processes include authoring workflow diagrams to support the software function specification requirements and design.
  • Collaboratively partner with clinical, UX, business teams, and developers to design the solution for product features and the back-end logic.
  • Document data and logic requirements driving insights.
  • Implementation, documentation, training, and maintenance of PQ data and insight solutions.
  • Leads or participates in application training of super users and end users.
  • Continually works to identify new opportunities to improve existing processes and to provide further insight into sales and customer drug pipeline.
  • Assists with the planning and implementation of system modifications, upgrades, interfaces, and related change management processes utilizing established Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) management tools and techniques.
  • All other duties related to the position as assigned.
Business Analyst - Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience building commercial software products and services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as healthcare data analytics or product development is required.
  • Experience in healthcare, particularly the use of data to generate insights, is important in this role.
  • Familiarity with the specific area of oncology care would be a plus.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record and Claims/Remit data.
  • Prior experience and familiarity with SQL. Nice to know additional languages: SAS or R/Python.
  • Knowledge of Embedded and Power BI.
  • High-potential future leader.
  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
  • First-rate planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Creative thinker who thrives on solving challenging problems.
  • Strong presentation and writing skills to communicate your vision.
  • Clear and concise technical documentation skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.
