Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Lead CRM functional discussions with customers and leverage your knowledge of CRM best practices to define and prioritize business requirements
  • Work with the project team to translate requirements into project deliverables
  • Coordinate project activities and manage customer and Sugar resources for project deliverables
  • Perform as the product owner during scrum meetings
  • Actively work with customers and the project team to resolve issues
  • Engage during pre-Sales to credential Sugar and Services capabilities
  • Develop a good understanding of SugarCRM product capabilities and best practices. Become Sugar certified
Business Analyst - Job requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and enterprise software implementation/projects. CRM or ERP - experience working with Sugar products is a Big Plus
  • Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with ability to maintain open communication with all levels of the organization and exposure to working with global and offshore teams. Comfortable leading discussions
  • Experience implementing cloud/SaaS software solutions
  • Experience facilitating requirements sessions with business users, IT and senior management
  • Strong experience with business process definition and design
  • Experience estimating work effort, managing projects (timeline, resources and financials) and end user training
  • History of successful project completion (on time, on budget) for projects where you have worked on the requirements
  • Project management cert. (e.g. PMP) desired but not essential

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a software professional services organization or consulting firm (Accenture, Deloitte, E&Y, etc.) with Business Analysis responsibility
  • BA/BS degree, MS/MBA preferred
  • Understanding of implementation methodology and practices – Agile, SCRUM, etc
  • Experience creating detailed project documents – project plan, functional design, use cases, test plans, etc.
