Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

Starr Companies is looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the NY home office team.

Job Description

  • Maintain tracking log for credit submissions, collateral and legal documents
  • Coordinate with Credit and Underwriting to ensure required legal agreements received and reflect approved credit terms
  • Assist in finalizing legal agreements including changes to legal documentation
  • Oversee DocuSign process for required legal agreements
  • Ensure compliance and reconciliation of required collateral
  • Assist in analysis of portfolio and industry trends
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with Credit Policy Guidelines
  • Work on special projects as needed

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or other related field, or relevant work experience
  • 2 to 4 years of proven Insurance related credit experience with emphasis on policies and procedures
  • Analytical and organizational skills preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
