As we continue to expand, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst III with expertise in SAP Finance to join our Life Sciences finance IT team.

Job Summary: The Business Analyst III - SAP Finance will play a substantial role in driving business growth and operational efficiency by demonstrating their SAP Finance expertise. This position requires a solid grasp of financial processes and systems, outstanding problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate findings to partners at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

Perform in-depth analysis of SAP financial processes, systems, and data to identify areas of improvement and recommend strategic solutions.

Develop collaboration with multi-functional teams to collect and document business requirements. Effectively translate user requirements into user requests and program specifications, and

partner with systems analysts on technical design and coordinate development work with development teams.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, standard methodologies, and emerging technologies related to SAP Finance, and proactively apply this knowledge to enhance financial processes!

Act as a liaison between business teams, IT teams, and external vendors for SAP Finance-related projects, ensuring effective communication and partnership throughout. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts, encouraging their professional growth and development in the SAP Finance domain.

Business Analyst - Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 years of related work experience
  • Demonstrated ability as a Business Analyst, with a focus on SAP Finance and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.
  • Solid understanding and expertise in SAP Finance modules (e.g., FI, CO, AP, AR) in releases 4.7 and ECC6.0, or with SAP HANA S/4 finance an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in applying SAP Finance functionalities, including configuration, reporting, and data analysis.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools, specifically within SAP Finance projects preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Proven attention to detail with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Professional certifications such as SAP Certified Application Associate - Financial Accounting or similar are a plus.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $75,800.00–$113,675.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
