Associate Business Analyst - Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Business Analysis Associate, you will report to the Vice President of PMG Technology Services and act as a liaison for software applications leveraged by the Portfolio Management Group (PMG). You will act as a subject matter expert and coordinator in troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving challenges that arise in the use of major applications by PMG. You will also be trained on all new technology being released for the business group and will perform the application testing needed to ensure the systems' success.

The Day-to-Day

  • Act as the business expert to provide analysis of issues to help resolve multifaceted business problems
  • Provide comprehensive application support to the business, working together with the Help Desk, Corporate Systems and Infrastructure
  • Support major internal and third-party software applications
  • Help create documents and workflows related to user training and business requirements
Associate Business Analyst - Job requirements

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, computer science, math, or other science field desirable and 0-1 yr experience developing software programs; or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Previous Information Technology experience (ideally Wealth Management Technology) with a proven ability to handle application-related projects within their own group
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work based upon business needs

  • $55,000 - $75,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
  • Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
