VP Business Analyst, Operations - Job Role & Responsibilities

The Markets Operations Business Intelligence & Process Re-Engineering (BPR) Team are responsible for providing business intelligence and data analytics to enable Markets Operations management automation investment decision making and driving process optimization and automation via Low code and traditional technology solutions. We partner with Operations managers to design Target Operating Models to increase scale, enhance client experience and improve control. We partner with Operations professionals to utilize data to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize business intelligence tools and internal data to identify high value automation and process improvement opportunities
  • Partner with Market Ops Teams to compile quantifiable business cases with tangible measures of success to drive project prioritization / sponsorship
  • Product Owner for key Market Ops Data Platforms and Visualization Tools. Partner closely with end-users to define product roadmaps and ensure continuous improvement in solutions.
  • Leverage knowledge of internal low code and core technology applications to suggest optimal automation solution. Partner with Ops and Dev Team to collate user requirements and translate into development. Ensure high standards by defining clear acceptance criteria and UAT plan.
  • Contribute to driving an innovative and continuous improvement culture within Market Ops.
VP Business Analyst, Operations - Job requirements

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with business intelligence tools (data/process mining, visualizations & dashboards, data modelling etc) and applying analysis to real world use cases
  • Understanding of low code applications such RPA, Data Transformation Tools and Workflow Automation Platforms
  • Technical understanding of core processes and business lines within Market Operations e.g. allocations, reconciliations, confirmations payment processing etc. Experience working in an Operations Line Role is highly beneficial.
  • Track record of identifying and executing automation opportunities
  • Business analysis experience
  • Understanding of both agile and waterfall project execution
  • Highly organized and effective communicator

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Salary Range:

$105,850.00 - $158,780.00
