Business Analyst, Licensing - Job Role & Responsibilities

Role can sit at any HQ with a preference of Frisco TX

This position is responsible for root cause analysis, including the creation/implementation of process plans and support strategies. This position works closely with internal and external partners and must be comfortable championing ideas and processes to a diverse audience. This role requires sophisticated analysis, planning, establishment of requirements, development of procedures, case development and cost justification for changes in designated business area. This position requires the ability to take direction on business issues, evaluate the vital deliverables needed to address the business issue, implement any needed changes, and accurately evaluate the impact on other areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research, develop, and implement balanced and repeatable procedures
  • Identify gaps and re-engineer process inefficiencies relative to current procedures
  • Support cross-functional partners to problem solve and implement solutions
  • Develop subject matter expertise for multi-faceted problems and deliver simplified solutions
  • Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders; establish positive relationships to acquire desired results
  • Assignments are generally highly complex in nature and will be in support of one or more of the following disciplines: Products, Sales/Retail, Customer Care Support, Technical Care Support, Billing, Supply Chain Operations, Product Management, Business Process and Cost-Benefit Analysis.
  • Provides team consulting support on complex tasks.

Education:

  • Associate's Degree business, finance (Preferred)

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years Working experience in process improvement, gap analysis, requirements gathering or other related experience. (Required)
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Microsoft Excel (Required)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint (Required)
  • Customer Service (Required)
  • Process Improvement (Required)
  • Wireless (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Washington Pay Range: $78,200- $105,800

  • The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
  • At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives.
