Job Description & Responsibilities
ViewSonic is seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to join our Information Technology team. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing and enhancing our IT and business processes and the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the information systems that support core organizational functions. He / She will also apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT system investments.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Business partnering with business users and departments to improve their operation efficiency by using IT technologies and solutions
- Translate business processes into system requirements and/or development of IT solutions.
- Analyze new business requirements and assist with the feasibility of enhancement requests, system functionality, current system use, and user needs.
- Work with the development team in Asia to build and maintain applications
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with peers and management
- Develop instructional materials, training, and job aids. Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements
Your Profile
- 5+ years IT business analyst experience
- Good command of the Mandarin language in speaking, reading, and writing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of computer system capabilities, business processes, and workflow.
- Strong understanding of the enterprise application development life cycle.
- Proven problem-solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
- Software development experience will be a BIG Plus
Work Environment & Requirements
- Environment: Hybrid; 3 days in office, 2 days local offsite
- Physical Effort: Work requires infrequent physical demands
- Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
